'Rise up against climate change' is the Lent and Easter Appeal for Christian Aid.
In a creative team of myself and an editor, we led the concept discovery with information from a trip report gained from gathered content from the project team in the Philippines. From a large selection of case studies, we selected a hero story to focus on for the campaign which focused around the issue of climate change.
The concept of 'Rise up' inspired by the story of Easter (rising up of jesus), and climate change (rising of waters). It also is a great campaigning message as it gives action for supporters who are encouraged to rise up with climate warriors around the world to protect the planet.
We produced a content pack which outlined the appeal, key messaging, targets, example photography and executions for resources - an important tool used within the organisation for all communications to maintain consistency of messaging and visuals.
